This elementary school building was built in a residential complex in the suburbs of Hiroshima City. The unique shape of the building, with its many curves, was designed to create a sense of continuity with the surrounding area. The building has actively had greenery added, and there is a rice paddy on the roof. The design also takes great care to make the children's stay enjoyable, with each classroom having its own entrance and a small garden, wooden doors, handrails, and desks, and playful additions throughout the building, which is a major attraction of this work.
