This baseball stadium is the home of the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. It is almost the only professional baseball stadium in Japan with a natural grass infield, and was designed to maximize the enjoyment of watching baseball games in the open air, which is different from domed stadiums, while following the "ball parkization" trend that has become mainstream in the United States, such as by having multicolored spectator seats.
In addition to its spaciousness and ease of use, the building has many architectural highlights, such as the close proximity between players and spectators and the rational layout plan.
