This facility is a long-established ryotei ryokan with a blend of Japanese and Western style built in the early Showa period, which has been revitalized into a wedding hall while being extended. The Japanese garden on the premises has also been arranged with modern elements, creating an attractive space that matches the wedding hall. It is one of the few remaining wooden architectural masterpieces in Hiroshima City, and is filled with the pleasure of admiring the superior craftsmanship of the mukuri (convex curved) roof, the copper plate covered gegyo (decorative wooden board used to cover the ridge and purlin ends on a roof gable), and the ajiro (wickerwork) ceiling in the interior.
It is usually open to the public as well as to restaurants.
