This elementary school was built on a small hillside in the center of the town by integrating the four elementary schools of the former Midori-cho. Four top lights were installed as a symbol of the four former elementary schools, and a crystal tower was built as a symbol of the integration. Most of the interior materials are made of local cedar and cypress wood, and the open classrooms are softly divided by round pillars that resemble a forest, creating a sense of freedom and comfort.
